Yes, I was just in my local verizon store and did a handset exchange and bought the docks. I remember reading that the car dock came with a 12v charger. I got home and opended my dock and no charger was included?
No big deal I thought at first, I have a mini USB Charger, than looked and it is a Micro USB charger which I do not have one of...
Anyone else get a 12v charger with their Car Dock?
are they really going to nickel and dime you? if you buy a dock, its almost natural for it to come with the corresponding usb cable. that's as annoying as buying a gadget that requires two double A batteries, but they dont include the batteries.
the Motorola site says it comes with it. That is aggrivating. However, doesn't the phone come with a micro usb cord where the thing plugs into the wall then the usb cord plugs into that. If that is the case then you should be able to pick up one of the many many third party car chargers that plug into your cigarette lighter but have a usb port on them. That should work as your car charger. I also am a little mad about the car stand not coming with the charger cable. And why would the dock come with the charger cable when it takes the same cable as the phone? They got that one backwards it seems.
