My phone, motorola droid, still shows an icon for downloaded images, files, etc that
I have downloaded months ago. I clear it daily but I end up with a line of 10+ little white arrows (the icon when your file is downloading/completed) at points during the day. Is there something wrong with my phone and is there a way I can permanently get rid of these notifications of old downloads.
Have you tried dragging down your notifications screen and press Clear to clear all notifications?
Everytime I clear it, they go away. once I open my browser up they all appear again.

try a battery pull, maybe once or twice.
it worked for a poster having problems with their T505 not working in their car. you might be the next fortunate recipient of the battery pull fairy.
