Just got my DROID Incredible. Takes some getting used to. One thing is especially annoying. I have a lot of albums on a memory card from a previous phone. The Incredible sees all the albums. But it has stripped almost all the leading numbers from the song titles and then shows the song lists in alphabetical order instead of the original album order. The leading numbers were put there to maintain the album order. Is there a way for me to get the Incredible to go back to the album order? If so, how?
not sure, but what i would try first is to get a different music player app to see if it will just load them in the album order. if so, it would be much easier to just use a different player. i'd suggest that you get "poweramp." it is a paid app ($4.99) which i don't typically recomend, but you can download the free trial version to see if you think it's worth the $. i do. it will do what you want it to do. at least, it does for mine. just checked the stock music player and sure enought, the songs on an album are alphabetical. opened the same album in poweramp and the are in the correct album order (along with the artist, which the stock music player showed as "unknown"). the best $4.99 you'll spend. there may be good free ones too?????
