It gets stuck on the Motorola logo screen. Same thing happens after a hard reset. Is there anything else I can do, or is it dead?

Thats a bummer, MSUBando! I assume since it will not power on past the Motorola logo, that you performed an alternative hard reset using the external keys? If so, and this is still not working, the device likely needs to be replaced. Please send me (AdamE_VZW) a direct message for further assistance.
Thank you,

Yes, it is a bummer. Unfortunately, I needed a phone so I had to buy a new one. I couldn't afford to wait over a week for a reply.
I tried Motorola's online customer service and they said I would have to send it in for repair. Since it is out of warranty, I would have had to pay more than it was going to cost me to buy a replacement.
Of course, I lost my unlimited data plan in the process which I had been hoping to avoid. If I find out this was a problem caused by an update to the phone as suggested by another Droid owner with a similar problem on the Droid X forum, I'm going to be very upset!
