My Incredible will not ring and sends all calls to voicemail - why ?

I've had the HTC Incredible for less than 1 week and it was great till yesterday. All of a sudden, my phone will not ring and all incoming calls go to voicemail. Settings have been checked and looked ok. What happened ? And what do I do ? Help please

Try these steps:

Try powering the device off, then removing the battery for about 1 minute and putting it back in, then power the device back on.

Then dial *228 send and option 1.

Also try calling *73 to cancel call forwarding in case it was forwarded by accident.

Also check some of the contacts settings that have been forwarded to VM and see if they were inadvertently set to go straight to VM.

Also check to make sure that Google Voice isn't setup on your phone. If you set it up it takes over your voicemail and I was having problems where it was sending my calls to voicemail and not letting me answer them.

Just throwing that out there as a possibility.

In addition dial *73 and then Call to clear Call forwarding just in case.

I am sure you checked this, but Also make sure the ringer volume is not turned down or off.
