My phone is sending double pictures messages(MMS)

megamanxzero35

Just got my Incredible 2 last Saturday. Couple days ago my brother said he was getting double messages for any pictures I sent him and the second message would ask him if he wanted to download the picture and when he would try to download it, it said the message was expired.

I tested it out last night and 7pm-ish and sent out two picture messages and told the people to tell me if they got 2 messages. They both only got one message that night but both got a second message about 10am the next day and when they would try and download the picture they would get the same message expired notice.

I was using GO SMS Pro for all of those picture sending messages and not the default messages app. But I did just send a picture with the default messages app to see if it happens with that app also.

Any help or ideas?

Hello megamanxzero35,

I could only imagine how frustrating it would be for the receiving party receiving duplicate picture messages from you!  I am happy to assist!

You mentioned you use GO SMS Pro as a messaging application on your phone.  I would like to suggest removing the application, and once the application is completely removed send another picture message.
