Navigation question for bionic

even though this brick may never have data I have a navigation question. Is there any way to get navigation to work if I do not set a destination? I like to drive with the dynamic driving map rather than the static location map, but I can't turn that map version on unless I put in a destination.

No, the navigation application will not dsplay location until a location is typed in, I really dont think that this was something they concidered... Not even regular GPS has this optiion and they tried to come as close as they could to a real GPS.

I believe there is a number of Geo apps that may do what you want but I dont have any to suggest.

so you want a "follow me" map? If so yes it does do it and its simple. Just click at the STAR looking icon on google maps on the top right hand corner. I use it all the time.
