Need help, really mad!!!

So my Incredible decided to shut itself down today and when I turned it back on, all my contacts and apps were gone!! It was basically back to factory reset! When I go onto the market to try and see if I can retrieve some of my apps, or anything really, I get an error and it needs to be force closed!! What the hell happened and can anyone help me???

sounds bad.. i would hard reset and see if you have any issues still
