Just got my new incredible 2 on yesterday did the update an now my screen will not rotate when I try to send a text message on when I go to facebook. I did a factory reset, took out the battery but it is still not working can someone please help.
Not sure about your phone, but on the DX, under settings => display, there is a check box for auto-rotate. Check to see if you have a similar setting.
Thank you for responding but I check to make sure it was checked off and it is. This just started happening once I apply the update to my phone. Contacted HTC they had me do some troubleshooting it worked for a little while and now its not working again. I will take it to a vzw store and have a tech look at it.
I just received an Incredible 2 and am having the same problem. I turn the "screen rotate" on and it doesn't work. Have had this phone for all of 3 days. Will call support but not sure if this is a hardware issue.
