Network Connection Not Available on Comcast

Everything is working- Internet, Facebook and work email but my Comcast email says Network connection is not available. I've removed the battery but still get the same message. Comcast email on my laptop is fine.

Since the rest of your data seems to be working (internet, work email, facebook) it definitely lets me know there is something going on with the Comcast email specifically.
Since you are getting Comcast Email on your computer, I want you to verify with Comcast what your incoming & outgoing server information should be on your Droid.
From the phone, you can always go into the settings to make sure the email account is set up properly by going to
Mail>Menu>Select More>Select Accounts List>Select your Comcast email account>Select Menu>Select More>Select Settings>Select Account Settings
From there go into the incoming & outgoing settings.
Verify the Incoming server settings then select Next.

- Username
- Password
- Server
- Security type
- Server port
You may also need to delete the email account from the phone & set it up again to get the email working.
To remove the Comcast Email account from the phone go to
Mail>Menu>More>Accounts List>Select your Comcast Email Acct>Menu>More>Settings>Delete Account>OK
