First things first..I really want this new Droid to be my phone...I have had an iphone and liked it but not the AT&T service.
I am a photographer and need a phone/device to be able to send my images to an editor. Don't care about the quality of the camera on this Droid, I use a 21mp pro DSLR. I understand this phone can't be tethered..yet.
I do need my mac book to recognize this phone, hasn't so far...no idea why..
I'd also like to use some of my itunes library as ringtones..
Thanks...

Hi Madisonmarine,
First and foremost, you are certainly able to send pictures you put on your SD card to another E-Mail or text. About it recognizing your phone:
Try pulling the notification pane down, when it's attached to your Mac via USB, when you see that it gives you a message about Mounting/Dismounting, click "mount". Your Mac should recognize it as a regular Flash Drive.
About your music, I suggest converting them to .MP3 Files, and using the App Ringroid, it allows you to take the song and make it into a ringtone, in my opinion, easier than doing it through Itunes (And, it's pretty fun to boot.)
Or, you can take your ringtones, Take your SD card, and make a Folder(s) following: Media/Audio/Ringtones, you should be able to put it there. In my opinion, use Ringroid, less dirty work.
Enjoy!
