The period at the end of his sentence is being included in the URL. Just click the link, and when you see the "Forbidden" error delete the tiny dot at the end of the URL in your browser's URL bar.

Those rates are absurd. If you will notice, they are the same rates as for Mobile Broadband. So you get no breaks for paying for monthly minutes.
I truly believe this move will only hurt VZW as many of us legitimate large data users will take our business elsewhere. Others who use less data will simply opt for the lower priced plans, which will be the VAST majority of users.

I agree, since I normally user 6-7 gigs I will be looking at 60.00 to 70.00 just in data fees alone. Since the article said they would Grandfather users into the original 29.99 unlimited plan even on contract renewal I think I can work with that but I wont see if this is true until I go to renew.

Well i'll tell you guys some people are going to see this as a shot in the arm an won't stand for it an around here we have U.S.
Cellular around here an alott of people went to them when the felt they were getting shafted by Verizon my Cousin is one of them
He had 8 lines i think. because of his Plumbing business an all his guys have a cell. An he was going to have to change his
business plans from alltels to the new Verizon ones an he got the price quotes an they were twice as high for less phones so he
checked out sprits plans an then U.S Cellular an went with U.S Cellular an they told him you want a accouple more phones we
can do it at no additional cost . but he kept what he had. But Verizon always does things like this thinking its a smart Move. But
there are other Carrriers out there that would love to steel some of Verizons Thunder. An they now have the Plans, the Phones an
in a short time will have the same LTE service that Verizon is Banking on to boost there popularity

Trouble there is that if enough people jump the VZW ship and go to, say Sprint, they too will probably do something like raise prices because of the data usage.

Yeah, it is a on going circle. A user jump ship to another carrier to only have them do the same changes not long after.

That url worked great. So far, I don't even have 1GB, close, but not yet. I thought for sure that between all my Emails, all my upgrading apps, the internet surfing, and listening to Pandora radio that I would have a couple of GB by now. It's nice that they are grandfathering us. But more important, when our contract is up and we get a new phone, we still can keep the unlimited data. At least this is the way I read it.

Key bullet points for me in this article
- If you have Verizon's $29.99 unlimited data plan, you'll be able to keep it after July 7.
- You'll also be able to keep the $29.99 unlimited plan when you upgrade to a new phone. (No word on if there's a pricing difference or when that policy could change.)

Like clockwork.
I've nearly stopped bringing my notebook home, using the phone for email, and some surfing that consists of browsing Facebook, this place, and a few Android blogs. I have yet to hit a gig and a half in all this time.
Besides. I REALLY hope the existing customers do get to keep the unlimited data for a while, anyway. There's a Bionic in my near future...

My usage fluctuates between 1.5 gigs to 3.5 gigs. I could cut out some internet radio at work ( would rather not), but it looks like we will get a grandfather clause for at least a while.
but if they don't grandfather a smartphone upgrade, then there will not be a LTE upgrade in my foreseeable future.
