New phone. Suddenly lots of data being consumed. Why?

I'm new to the Inc2, having come from a Droid X.  I'm on an 'unlimited' data plan but suddenly I'm consuming mass quantities of data with fewer apps and less browsing than on the DX.  In the 10 days since my plan month rolled over, I've used almost 1GB of data.  In the same time period in previous months, I'd have used about 250MB of data.

How do I find out what apps or widgets are causing this increase?  I've never worried about it before, but at this rate, I'll be hitting the mythical 5GB cap long before my next plan month.

Thanks for any advice.

HTC Peep if you have that set up will use a lot of data.  It causes problem for some, but not for others.  When I had the Thunberbolt I had that problem.  My Cousin had that problem with his Sensation.

I can understand your concern to know which applications are using the most data. There are third party applications on the market that may accomplish this for you.

You can also check your applications data usage by: Menu>Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>All. This will allow you to see how much data each application has used.

Please let me know if you need any further help with data consumption.

Thank you
