I didn't receive a Users Guide with my refurbished Android 2.  How long does it usually take for the first charge and how will I know when it's done?  No message came on when I plugged it in.

it varies.  the outlet wall cahrger is fastest, 2 hours should more then do it form totally dead

if its on it should pop up a message, if its off it sill show a 100% battery

The little light very near where the charger plugs in will turn off once charged (seems kinda backwards, turn on the light to use more power while charging, but whatever )

As already said the two ways you tell the battery is fully charged is the little white light by the USB connector will go off and the battery icon on the notification bar will be fully green. As for the manual, you have to either go to the motorola/Droid 2/Support site and download the manual. I believe you can also get the manual from the Verizon site.
