New, unwelcomed problems on my previously favorite phone :(

Hi all,

Hopefully someone can shed some light on what's going on...my family and I are still pretty new with Verizon, 6 months new to be exact...my husband and I both purchased the HTC Droid Incredible. Everything seemed to be going pretty well, until the last month or so...my husband's phone picks and chooses when it wants to ring, while mine freezes up all the time, causing me to constantly have to reboot. Text messages appear when they want to, otherwise they don't show up at all, and it seems as though I'm neglecting people (when I'm really just not receiving the texts). We've powered down our phones, taken batteries out, I don't know what else to do. What can be done? I know they don't even sell the Droid Incredible anymore through Verizon...help please :smileyhappy:

It could be a bad app, corrupt app, or an app conflict causing the issue.

 

Try the following. Safe mode instructions

 

See if this eliminates any of the issues. If so, I would start deleting apps and see at what point the issue quits. OR you could do a master reset. But if you do, be sure to back up your contacts with backup assistant and back up any important files to your puter. before taking that step as everything is erased.
