Last week I had an issue where I lost 3G completely a couple times one day on my Motorola Droid. Taking the battery out for a few minutes usually solved the problem. Haven't had to deal with this since. Until tonight...
I haven't had 3G for hours. I have turned the phone off and taken the battery out for a few minutes. I have turned airplane mode on and off because someone once recommended that. But nothing is bringing 3G back.
Is there anything I can do to fix this? It's pretty frustrating since I'm unable to do anything that requires a connection to 3G.
And on top of that, the Internet at my house (Verizon MiFi) has been a pain as well tonight. Could it perhaps just be some issues with Verizon? Or something else?

The network may need to be updated on phone because there could be a tower that was down or maintenance going on in your area. Try dialing *228 option 1 to update the network that you are on.

Thank you for the information, Brittney! I will definitely keep that in mind. Fortunately, 3G (and my MiFi internet) have been working fine since that night. Hopefully there won't be any other problems!
