No Connection to Wi-Fi when SSID not Broadcast

I have connected successfully to my home Wi-Fi when I set my router to broadcast  my SSID.  When I turn the broadcast off my Bionic can't find it even after I save the SSID profile.  Is there a toggle somewhere like on my computer that is like "Connect even if not broadcasting"?  I like the extra security of not broadcasting my SSID, and have not had any problems in the past with any hardware including my old Palm Pixi.  Any help would be appreciated.

Does it still list your network under the wifi connection menu?  Try removing the settings and hide network and input SSID and password manually.

I can see my SSID under the "Manage Networks" tab but says "Not in range".  As suggested, I did the "forget network" on the saved profile and entered SSID and Phrase manually.  Now the Wi-Fi toggle has the check mark on it with a note underneath that says "Disconnected".  On my router I do have a "Guest" account that is broadcast.  I wonder if that is adding to the problem?

I have since shut off my Routers "Guest" account and still cannot connect with the SSID not broadcasting. Any other thoughts on how to get the Bionic to connect?

My Bionic connects to a hidden SSID without any issues.  I manually connected after the SSID was already hidden so maybe that makes a difference.  Another thing to note is that the default power saver mode is to turn off wifi if the phone isn't active.  You might want to change this in case that's the issue you're seeing.  I would notice that it would a few seconds for wifi to re-connect when I went to use my phone.
