Is there anyone else who is having this problem? There was no problem after the update until I used the Google NAV. Once I closed that, GPS turned off. I went to home>menu>settings and turned GPS on. As soon as I left the menu list, it turned off. All I did was a power cycle to try and fix, but it still did nothing. Several other threads on other sites are saying the same thing with every Android phone using the 2.2 OTA update not just the Droid. Today I plugged my phone into my computer to charge it - first time since update - and the GPS suddenly became available. I am going to try the Google NAV again today just to see if it does it again. Any help or advice on a fix would be greatly appreciated!

You may want to delete any other navigation applications that might tamper with your settings. If that doesn't work just try to perform a hard reset. The steps are listed below:
Performing a factory reset via settings
- The most convenient way to do a factory reset is via the phone settings.
- Press HOME > MENU, then tap Settings.
- Scroll down the screen, and then tap Privacy > Factory data reset.
- On the Factory data reset screen, tap Reset phone, and then tap Erase everything.
Performing a factory reset using phone buttons
If you cannot turn on your phone or access the phone settings, you can still perform a
factory reset by using the buttons on the phone.
- With the phone turned off, press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, and then briefly
- press the POWER button.
- Wait for the screen with the 3 Android images to appear, and then release the VOLUME
- DOWN button.
- Press VOLUME DOWN to select CLEAR STORAGE, and then press POWER.
- When asked to confirm, press VOLUME UP.
