No Notification LED Light for Missed Calls Since Update

I used to get a LED light notification when a call was missed. Now since the new "update" I no longer get the notification. Anyone else notice this? How do I get the LED notification light back?

Yea, a GB introduced issue:

From the MOTO forum:    "the LED indicators at the top of the phone no longer stay on when the display is turned on as the phone is brought out of sleep mode -- this creates a problem for users who rely on these indicators with signal apps -- the LEDs no longer work reliably and fail to notify users when a call or text is missed."

I also had this issue and talked with VZW CS.  I was told that this is a software change with GB and MOTO took it out/or forgot to add it when they made GB.  So in the end, this is was a planned action.

Check the market for notification apps to solve this issue. If we're lucky MOTO will put it back in with an update but I'm not holding my breath.

This happened to mine right after updating, and was easily fixed by clearing the Cache of my texting and email apps. None of my LED indicators were working, but it's a simple fix. Just go into Settings -- Applications -- Manage Applications -- Select your texting and email apps, and select Clear Cache. That will also fix your call/voicemail notifications. No need to go buy an app.
