I am not able to link my friends Facebook profile with my contact list (my friend's profile picture, etc). When I try to link them, it says I don't have any Facebook friends. I have tried to refresh the information(from my online directories), but the phone says there was a connection error. I can still use Facebook on the phone and my friend list is there. I have gone to settings and under the Accounts & Sync page to make sure my Facebook account is there. It seems to be set up fine.
Does any one know how to fix this??
Same issue! My husband has a blackberry, which linked nicely to his facebook photos....but this is crazy. help
Make sure you have Facebook For HTC Sense logged in on the Accounts and Settings.

If you have duplicate contacts between Facebook and your phonebook, you can join them together to make one contact. This will update the contact profile picture with their Facebook picture and will merge the information.
-Go to your People icon
-Choose the contact information you which to merge with Facebook
-In the upper right hand corner your can click on the link button (it will appear like a broken link) and then you will have the option to link with Facebook.

Hey Moates, you may or may not have read the whole question, but with the issue that is going on with HTC and FB, no friends are showing up, so there is no friends to select, therefore the customer can not do this unfortunately. Basically, your instructions are correct IF it is working correctly, but it is not.
I was having this problem as well. Mine resolved itself yesterday so hopefully yours did too. If not, there is an app called Facebook Sync that will sync the pics of your contacts. Hope that helps!
