Not able to start video capture

As the title say's since I've updated my droid ultra with the new kit kat android my phone will not record video's, and some apps I have require me to record ex: Snap Chat,Messenger(won't record voice messages). Please help me figure out the problem? Or is this happening to everyone else as well?

Egypt19, you have our undivided attention. We're focused on you right now! The recent software update may be conflicting with those 3rd party application software. Try uninstalling those applications in Settings and then redownloading them. Keep us posted.

I appreciate you taking those steps, Egypt19. Please try starting the device in Safe Mode and test the standard video capture through Camera. Here is a link with instructions: http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/devices/knowledge_base.html/105634. If it works ins Safe Mode this will indicate there is still a 3rd arty app affecting the feature.
