Not connecting to 3G with Incredible

I haven't had access to 3g all day.  I am still connected to the verizon telecommunications network as I can send and receive text messages, but internet-related functions are down.  I am able to connect to the internet via wi-fi.

 

Is the 3G service down today? Can you (verizon) make such notifications more readily available?

Have you tried shutting off the phone then turning it on? I have that issue occasionally. And that seems to correct it.

 

If it doesn't then call *228 and choose option 1. This will reactivate the phone, but nothing will be lost.

Great, thanks.  Restarted my phone and now it works.  Can't believe I didn't think of it.

hey my phone was just working, then now @ the top where it displayed 3G it has an 'X'.

I cannot do anything on my phone :smileysad:

Do you know how to correct this?

Are you sure it is not a 1x??? Same thing turn off the unit and turn it back on, if that does not work dial *228 choose option 1.
