Note Pad/Loading Music

ON my old phone I had a memo pad where I could type little messages to myself, and I used it almost daily.  I can't find anything like that on the Droid.  Besides typing a new text message or email to myself, I have no way to make notes to myself.  Is there an App that I can download that is a note pad or memo pad?

Also, how do I load music from my computer to my Droid?  When I connect my droid to my computer, I can download photos onto my computer, but how do I upload music to my Droid?  Thanks

I've been using AK Notepad. If you search for "AK" in the Market it should come up at the top of the list.

After mounting your Droid, a Removable Disk should appear in My Computer and Windows Explorer. You can open that drive, create folders and copy audio files to it. MP3 and I believe WMA files work. You can also use Windows Media Player to sync. If you have a Moto Droid check out Droid - Using Music for more details. Motorola also provides a free Media Link app.

For notes I use GDocs Notepad, because it can sync the notes with my Google account.

I had used Doubletwist to put music into my Droid from iTunes on my Mac, but you can also drag and drop music files into the music folder on your android device. There are other apps for downloading music as well. You might to do a search in the forums for music download apps. Also, there may be more info in the "your Android and you 101" post.
