Notification LED

My notification LED doesn't seem to be working correctly.  If I get a notification, the LED will flash once and then stay off.  If I turn on the screen and then turn it off, it will flash only once again.  This is before I installed anything on it.  I even tried doing a complete reset.  None of the apps that control the notification LED work.  Any ideas?

I would like the opportunity to assist with this concern. I did test the LED light on a Droid Bionic here and was not able to duplicate what you described. I've already had it replaced.  The new one work as expected (i.e, like my OG Droid).  However the new one does have the annoying headphone whine issue that so many others are having.  My original Bionic did not.  I guess I'll get another replacement...

It only is on when the phone is blacked out for me. Are u on powersaver mine doesent work on powersaver?
