Notification tones for text messages

Is it possible to set notification tones to ring more than once when a text message is received? Also is it possible to have a long notification tone installed?

Thanks. I found an app "GO SMS" that can be set to repeat every 1 to 10 minutes or indefinitely. I am still looking for one where I can specify a single text sender. It may be out there.

I don't think that is possible with the stock apps. Try downloading "Missed Call" from the Market. I understand that it should do what you asking for.

There was an application called "WhoIsIt" that I tried the beta version and it was highly customizable down to that level. It was more than what I needed though.
