Is there a way to have a different setting for your email and your text messages? I have my setting on a low sound for all my email but then when I get a text, I miss it because I can't hear it.
You can not adjust the volume settings for email and text separately but you can set a different alert sound for each one by opening messaging > account name > left menu button > email settings > notification > select ringtone
