Now connection to my Home Wi-Fi doesn't work ...

I've had my X since day one and have had zero issues. I set up Wi-Fi through my (Verizon) ActionTec MI424-WR router and everything worked well.

Just last night I noticed that I could no longer use Wi-Fi at home. The home router shows up in the 'out of range' group. I 'forgot' the router and then re-added, including the correct WEP key. (Tried it several times ...) The X tries to connect but ultimately quits. All the other home Wi-Fi devices (including a BB and my wife's dismal Devour) have no issues connecting so it appears nothing has changed from the router side. I was at Starbucks this P.M. and easily connected through their AT&T wireless. I removed a few apps I recently added but nothing changed. Oh, I've rebooted and removed the battery as well. Pretty strange.

I have listed some instructions below that may help the WiFi on your Motorola Droid X.

Step 1. – Soft reset on the Droid X. To complete a soft reset on the Droid X, please click on the following link:

Step 2 – Try power cycling your personal router

Step 3 – Try once again to forget the router (if steps 1 and 2 didn’t work)

***Performing a hard reset will removeALLdata, including the Google account, system data, application data, application settings, and downloaded applications.
