No, it's not a FREE phone. The price is not shown. but if you click the link says "Go to AmazonWireless.com to see price" and then put it in shoping cart you will get the price. The price will be different place to place. As for example, I got $219. But this still a BIG saving then purchasing it from a local VZW store -- which very unfortunately, I did :manmad:

The .01 applies to new lines of service.  It's $219 if you choose to upgrade an existing line.
