Offical Android 2.3 for Droid X

Is there any timeline for the update over the air to come out for Android 2.3 for the Droid X coming out.  I saw the unoffical one and it looks really good.  I hope to have it soon.  If anyone knows?

I hope soon cause I'm not going to deal with all that rooting stuff just to get a bootleg version.
