Just checked the order of the two Droid X I ordered this morning. Completed the order around 7AM EST and now the VZ website states:

Same situ here, completed order online at 6:07 am Central time-- got sales confirmation, but no shipping email yet.
I looked back at some previous orders of mine and I ordered my last phone a year ago at 8 in the morning and didn't get an e-mail for overnight shipping until 9pm that night, it still showed up the next day.

I will probably be refreshing the order screen all night until I see a tracking number...want my droid x

Just FYI, I spoke to a CSR and the last shipments for overnight delivery are generally 3-4:30pm Pacific time. Hope that helps.

Yahoo...just received an email that my two Droid X phones are shipped. I received two separate tracking numbers from UPS...I can't wait to have these and now I feel better that they will be delivered tomorrow.

I ordered mine this morning at 12:30 AM, and the order is still sitting there pending "inventory availability"!
VERY frustrating since people who ordered it today from work have already received shipping confirmations!!!
What is going on?

Im having the same problem. I ordered mine at 1:00 am and still not shipping confirmation email. Whats the deal?

I'd call them. I ordered mine at 12:01 Central last night. Today an employee called me after I made a call inquiring about it and she told me that it was still not processed, something to do with the payment. I gave my CC# to her and she processed it right then and told me the payment did indeed clear and that she'd send me my tracking number shortly.

I placed my order at 1am and payment was taken out of my account. I verified to today with customer rep.. and I still have not recieved a confirmation yet. It is really frustrating to see how some can order later and already have their phones shipped...

I agree, I'm sitting in the same waiting boat as you are and I ordered mine at 12:01 am.

I ordered mine at 1am and just got my confirmation. I am on the east coast..so you still may get yours... I did check the confirmation number with fedex and it should arrive tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed.. I hope you get it tonight...

Well.. I can stop worrying.. I just got my shipment confirmation and tracking number and that makes me happy..fedex is estimating I should have it tomorrow by 3pm... but still not sure how they are sending these emails.. sound like someone needs to go and manage the shipping department a little better..

From what an employee told me, there are separate shipping locations depending on your location within the US. Also they have several shipments going out per day. So if one location already has 10,000 orders to fill (remember it's other various phone orders as well) your order that hit at 12am this morning may not get on till the 4th or 5th Fedex truck.
Hope that helps and doesn't confuse the matter more.

Pretty pleased...just checked the UPS Tracking system and my package is in West Chester PA with a delivery date for tomorrow...should be delivered by 9:30 - 10:00 as usual.

It won't update because the tracking info only comes in an email.

Hey quick question.
For those who have the tracking number what does fedex list as your package weight? I am asking this because last night I wanted to get my order in quick so i just ordered the phone and later ordered accessories. I am trying to figure out if the tracking info I received is for the phone or accessory.

My package indicates 4 Lbs, however, when I chacked the order status page it lists a package coming via the USPS as well as UPS. I am assuming that package will contain the accessories I purchased. That pacjage is somewhere in Philly as of last night...not sure where it is today as it should make one day deliver to New York. Below is my phone orders from UPS:

The tracking number only becomes available for tracking once FEDEX has picked up the package from our distribution centers. At this point FEDEX is in possession of the package, and all of their systems will be updated to reflect the anticipated delivery times, and the most up to date information. Please do not cancel an order because you are unable to track the order. Once a tracking number is assigned to your shipment, we will email you the tracking information. Oh...................What should we do about the orders that dint ship because they got "stuck"!!!!! Should we cancel those???
