I've been getting random text messages on and off for awhile with VZW. Normally I just ignore them. Lately, it's gotten worse. I have 6 or 7 texts from someone in Indiana, and according to them, they are sending it to the proper number ( which isn't even my Area code ). I don't get all their messages, just sometimes.
This is odd. The cynic in me wonders if VZW is randomly misdirecting or double delivering text messages to run up text costs...
What can I do to fix this, and on the text messages that were not sent to me,but I received, is there a process to have them purged from my bill?
I'm going to ignore the security and privacy concerns with this, i'm sure that'll be some future Class Action lawsuit...
Also, on my bill, some of these texts appear to come from "0000006245", what kind of number is that?
