I have downloaded 2 different songs as ringtones. I've tried to follow the directions of holding the msg til a screen pops up and hit set as ringtone. Problem is set as ringtone is not an option. I've looked everywhere for the 2 songs but i cannot find them anywhere.

Thank you all for your suggestions. We would like to add some additional information. With the Droid 2, you would first need to open the message. Once the message is opened, press and hold the screen next to the Play button. You will then be given the prompt to Save As Ringtone. You are also able to go to your Files folder, then touch Phone Files, then touch Feebe Rings then touch mp3. Your ringtones will pull up from there.
Thank you

Where did you download them from?
You might try getting gesture search from the market and using it to search. It has a setting that allows you to search songs as well on your device.
If you just downloaded them from a "standard" website you should be able to launch the "Files" application and browse to the "Downloads" folder for them.

There is an app Ringtone made by Markepel Ringtones.
If that is the app you used the following is what helped another user.
It does not show up as a song in the music app.
It places the mp3's in /sdcard/FreebeRings/mp3.
Download sdrescan from the market.
Then go to the music app, it should find it.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
