POP 3 problems

I am able to receive emails on my pop3 email but can not send out emails. Keeps saying it is unable to connect to my server. I am using godaddy for my email client and I have contacted them for the proper settings on my phone and nothing is working. They keep saying it's not on there end. What's wrong?

mine is actually a TLS with a server port of 25. however, once in a while i get errors and can't send. it always receives, but sending is hit or miss. i don't send email much on the phone so i haven't worried about it....but i do have issues.

Well that exactly what I have set to the T and still get the same exact errors. Go Daddye can't figure out why either.

i went through this same thing with cox.net. after posting here earlier, i happened across a thread on the X forum and found that cox had been giving us all the WRONG outgoing port!!!! my problem is now solved and it was all because on 3 occassions cox gave me the wrong info. the thread i found earlier had a post from a vzn rep with all of the cox settings and it now works fine!!!! after 2 months...lol
