Anyone experience this? The phone sometimes becomes very hot when I have it in my pocket. Once out, it seems to cool down - I do not believe this has to do with usage since it becomes hot when I'm not using it - only when it's in my pocket.

When you have a phone in your pocket I read in a news article that batteries do tend to become warm. It has to do something with your body temperature. It is recommend it you carry it in a clip case like on your belt/pants or in a purse

If you are a hot man or a hot woman then your phone will probably get hot while in your pocket.

That must hurt. Although there has been cases in the past where people have got severely burned from their cell phone. I remember one case where a teenage girl had a nokia phone in her back pocket. The phone caught on fire and burned her.

she must have been smokin hot!!! i keep my phone in my pocket and have not had this problem (which is now hurting my ego). i wonder if something is running that you are unaware of as the only time my phone even gets a bit warm is when i'm running apps or the web for an extended period of time.

Usually this happens when you have an intensive app running. I have my app killer set to kill apps when the phone screen turns off. You can get an app called Caffeine to keep the phone screen always on when charging (or when you want it to stay on).
