I do not believe there is any apps that works to record both sides of the conversation without modifing your device that will void your warrenty, mostly all I used only recorded my side of conversation, which was pointless in my opinion.

You have to be careful with the legality of it's use, but for private use you can use callrecorder free from the marketplace. Some phones require you to put the phone into speaker phone mode to record other party.

Yep, it's just a work-around.
On the topic though, have you ever called someplace and heard the "calls may be recorded for quality assurance"? I've told a couple of places that I would be recording the phone call for documentation when I finally get a human, most of the time they tell me: That is not allowed and terminate my call. Kind of funny that they can record me, but I'm not "allowed" to record them....
Legally speaking you can record any phone call where you hear that disclaimer because there is no expectation of the phone call not being recorded. They know it's being recorded and you're just getting your's.
