I completed an upgrade for my Droid X today. After doing this I have no use of the phone at all! I need some input here. The phone was purchased in September and insurance taken out also.
I'm in the same boat, the phone was working fine until the OTA downloaded. Now it goes straight to bootloader mode. Won't even let me open in recovery mode.
If you both have phones which do nothing you need to take them into the store for service. The Droid X has a 1year standard warranty, VZW provides an additional year warranty for a cost.
Mattp: What does your bootloader screen show?
DaMag: Could you please explain what you mean? Does the phone do anything? Does it power on at all? A little more info please.

Try plugging it into the wall charger for a while. It almost sounds like your battery was too low when you started the update.
