Phone-related Issues with 2.2 and apps not staying open

I have a few problems, as fllows:

1.  After doing some phoning, when I try to open the "Dialer" app, it opens and closes at once.  A re-boot is needed to fix it.

2.  Also, after doing some phoning, a folder that I've created mis-behaves the same way -- it opens and closes at once.  A re-boot fixes it, too.

The two open/close situations don't happen all the time, and not under the same conditions, but each happens often enough to be a pain.

Advice, anyone?

This sounds like a issue I had before from using EStrong Task Killer, do you have a task killer installed and if so have you added the dialer to the ignore list?
