We bought the buy-one-get-one Droid Incredible by HTC - both were "set-up" at Verizon store. At home, turned on WiFi for first phone and it immediately found our home wifi network (as well as several others in the neighborhood) - and connected with no problem. The second phone will not find any networks - it tries but then gives an error message "unable to scan for networks." If I try to enter the network name and WEP then try to save it - the message is "cannot save network." Anyone have any idea what is preventing the second phone from connecting to Wifi - the 3G works fine.

Try calling *228 and choose option1.... Otherwise you will need to call tech support from the other phone and choose option 3 from the menu tree

I had the same problem. The only fix is a hard reset.

since it is new anyhow, i would try the hard reset. you will lose anything that's been stored/downloaded, etc....but if it's brand new, you shouldn't have much to lose.
