Pic issues/how can you see the SD card?

A friend emailed me with 2 pics attached. I downloaded the pics and viewed them just fine. However, when I saved them, it said they were saved to the sd card. The sd card does not appear to be viewable anywhere, nor do the pics show up in the gallery. How do I access these pics, and the SD card in general?

You can possibly try to view the pictures on your computer to see if they are there in the sd card. Just hook up your phone. Select "mount" on your phone. Go to start-->my computer-->Removable storage-->your phone.
