Picture and sound message?

I received my droid x yesterday and it doesn't look like it is able to send a picture message with a sound attached. I can attach a picture or a sound and send them separately but not at the same time. Any suggestions? Will 2.2 solve this? Thanks for the help Matt

I thought this to be true but I fugured out the you can send audio and photo in same MMS but the strange part is that you have to attach them at the same time, if you select both items before you select the share feature it will add both files to the message... The strange part is that this appears to be the only way to do this...If you start a message and then want to add a file, I can not seem to figure out how to do this if it is possible..

UPDATE: I stand corrected, this only works if you do the same files like multiple pictures, music or so on, but you cant mix and match.... Hope this will be look at in the update but I do not remeber anything reporting on this subject.

Stock Solution:

1. Open Message

2. Click New Message

3. Input Contact Info

4. Press Left button and select Slideshow from list

5. Add Item by clicking top icons representing the file you want to attach.(There is a size limit)

6 Click Sent

3rd Party

Handsent MMS is the program that appears to work for this (with a larger file limit), this has a slide show feature that appears to send both without issues, I just downloaded a sent a few test MMS and they worked fine.

figured it out 1. go to contacts and pick who you want to send a message to. 2. Click the envelope next to the number you want to send it to. 3. Press the menu button that has four squares. 4. Press insert. 5. Press slideshow. 6. Press the picture icon in the slide show menu. 7. Pick the picture you want to send. 8. Press and hold the picture once it goes back to the slide show menu. 9. Press "add existing audio". 10. select the music track. 11. send message.

Wish that was accurate but thanks anyway. I wanted to know how to attach a sound file to a picture. Your instructions didn't cover that. Appreciate the help though.

The instructions that was posted allows you to attach any files into one message, please read again.

Stock Solution:

Sorry I forgot to place select "Insert" from menu but this instructions does work..
