Pictures erased

A couple days ago my 600+ pictures erased along with my contacts. I attempted to retrieve everything using the backup assistant. Although my contacts did appear, my pictures did not make it :smileysad:

I don't believe Backup assistant backs up images.

Were they deleted from the sd card?

Interesting, can't post with IE 9, words don't show up...

 

Anyway, clearly your pictures were never gone.  You have two types of storage on your phone - internal and SD card.  Clearly your photos were in the other location and now you're pointing back to it.  You should spend some time with the manual exploring both locations and deciding which you want for your default storage.

 

Hopefully you're backing up your pictures to your PC, having irreplaceable photos on the phone w/o backup is asking for trouble.

I just lost all mine too. Were yours saved to an sd card or in your internal storage? I am hoping they were saved in your internal storage, cause I want mine to come back too! I still have the few that were saved to my sd card, but I don't even care about those...

I just lost over 300 pics on my phone and tried shutting it off and turning it back on and still nothing.  I have lost all my texts before which seems to be a common problem also but this is the first time I lost most of my pics.  the only ones still left on are the ones that were downloaded.   Why would this happen when I didnt do a thing with my phone when it happened?  I was just checkin on a pic and noticed it was all gone.

I also lost over 300 pictures and videos over past 2 days. Just shut down, removed battery and then replaced. After power up it took about three minutes, but all pics,  downloads and videos restored. Hope this works for you,

Oh my gosh it worked!! Thank you SO much. Do you know of a way to move all my photos to my SD card at once?
