Pictures problem

Some of the pictures I take with my phone appear to be overexposed on one side of the frame. When I view the pics as icons in the grid view, the photos are fine. But when I select the photo to view it is has the "over exposed' section on one side of the frame. It started just as a line on the side but has advanced to cover almost half of the picture now. This also shows when the photos are downloaded to a PC or printed.

Could this be a matter of space or possibly a setting that needs to be changed?

I have been deleting the pictures from my phone in case it is a matter of space, so I do not have any samples to share.

I'd be happy to review some troubleshooting steps to help with your camera issues. When you take pictures, is it on every picture or intermittent? When you say overexposed, is one portion of the picture brighter than the other parts of the picture? You can try going into settings> applications> manage applications> all> camera> clear cache/clear data/ force stop. Retest your camera and see if that fixes it.

If the above steps haven't worked, it could be a hardware issues (lens went bad). Some other things you can try is pulling out the battery or performing a Factory Reset. If the factory reset doesn't resolve the issue, replacement may be required. Contact the Warranty Center at 866-406-5154 to see if you qualify for a replacement or PM me with your mobile number, and I'll contact you as soon as I can.

I think that may have worked. I have taken several test pictures (50+) and have not noticed it happening again. I also deleted a lot of pictures that have already been downloaded to our computer, so that may have helped as well.

That happened to a couple of my pictures. It would show fine as an icon but when I make it bigger it is all distorted and weird on the right side of the picture. It only happened to about 3 pictures and hasn't happen again after. I did a factory reset on phone before the last update so I had plenty of memory and space. I was pretty mad bc they were good pictures and no matter how I sent the pictures (email, Facebook, computer) they were still messed up and ruined :smileysad:
