Poor signal strength on our new Droid Incredibles in Washington DC

Anyone have ideas on how to get better signal strength in Washington DC? We get only one or no bars, even if we go outside on the street in front of our house.

Our home WiFi network gives us fast response times for data, but the voice coverage is pretty bad. Is there any way that the signal in a neighberhood can be increased?

try updating to the closet tower by typing *228 and hit send and then follow directions

Do dial *228 + send from your verizon phone. Press option 2.

see this thread. i gave instructions on how to change some advanced setting. can't guarantee this will help you, but it definitely helped me. night and day difference.
