Ok, did I imagine this or am I correct to say the power button when pressed is suppose to shut off the screen placing the phone in stand by/sleep mode. The Power button works fine for waking the phone up from sleep/stand by and still does as expected when doing the long press to bring up the popup menu where you can power the phone off. It is not a big deal to me as have phone set to shut off the screen if not used in a minute any how. Just worried if I am right if this is sign of more problems to come.

Ok, thought I would provide a update to my own question. Must admit, was a little disappointed that my issue did not receive a single reply but that is ok as it was not a huge deal with me since phone was working fine otherwise. Anyway, oddly enough, after applying the 2.2 upgrade my little button issue appears to have resolved itself.
Oh, and for the record, I have had the upgrade on the phone now for a few days and so far seems to be working just fine. I have found on Stock Application that I had downloaded from the Apps store does not want sync properly now.
On another note, I just got back from a canoe trip here in NC. Up around the West Jefferson area. We were way off the beaten path to say the least. One of the guys on the trip had a LG phone (sorry do not know what specific phone) but we both had VZ for our service. We were camping at Twin Rivers Camp Ground and sitting side by side, he was able to pick up a signal, a weak one but he could use his phone. Me on the otherhand, had no signal at all. Tried walking around to other areas of the camp site but nothing. It was a little bit of a let down that having one of the best phones available, I could not not use my phone while the other dude could. But then again, one of the reasons for the trip in the first place was to get away from things so just put the phone away and enjoyed the trip.
