Beginning the evening of Sunday 12/4, both Communities will be placed in read-only mode. You’ll still be able to visit the Communities and browse content, but login will be disabled. Power/Charge Issue

Beginning two nights ago, my device was plugged in and the red light that shows it is charging was lit, but when I awoke the next morning, the battery level had actually receded rather than charging. I tried other outlets, but despite the charge light remaining lit, the battery level gradually receded until now when the phone will neither turn on nor does the charge light illuminate. What is wrong with my phone and how do I fix it?
