Problem with contact list

I went to the verizon store and had them import all my contact off my old phone and into my X.  Everything was working fine up until a few day ago.  Now my imported contact list ONLY displays those that are also listed on my facebook contacts along with there current status if any.  In other words, if they are not on my FB, then they are not displayed.  Now what?

Try viewing your contacts with the steps below!  Hope this helps!

1. From the home screen, touch the applications tab (located at the bottom of the display).
    
2. Touch Contacts. 
3. Press the Menu button.
    
4. Touch Display group. 
5. Select the contact group to display (i.e. All contacts, Favorites, Google, Phone Contacts, etc.).

I have had the same problem. I think once I put someone on speed dial,they are removed from my contact list. Any ideas?
