RAM Manager

When I open Task Manager and look at the RAM status it indicates 318MB/373MB used.  I've tried clearing the memory, removing unnecessary apps, killing all tasks and this is the best I can reduce it to.  Phone runs slow changing from one task to the next.  Have tried clearing cookies and cache manually, but no real improvement.  Any ideas?

Leave the RAM alone. Android wants its RAM full. That is how Android and the Linux system it is based on works.

A little bit of reading material in the link.
