Random Reboot and Voicemail Problem and freezes

Alright so I got one random reboot where it just turned itself off and rebooted. I had no apps isntalled during that time so I can discontinue that as being a problem. No 3rd party apps means no cause for it to reboot. That happened on a freeze on browser which it would not respond to anything And this is the third time the browser has froze on me. A new problem is that when I go to the phone icon on homepage and look through my contacts I see voicemail and a '1' underneath it I check my voicemail and there isn't anything. Is there something wrong with my phone? Would it warrant a new one? I am still under 30 day warranty

Make sure that you have the lasted updates on the phone.

From the main screen, touch menu tab
Touch Settings
Touch About Phone
Touch System Updates

Then try doing a soft reset on the phone.

Press the Power key.
Touch Power off.
Touch OK.
Press the Power key to power on the device
.

Then once the phone is powered back on, try dialing *228 send and option 1.

When using the browser make sure you are using the default web browser.

From the home screen, touch the applications tab (located at the bottom of the display).
Touch Browser.
Press the Menu Button.
Touch More.
Touch Settings.
Clear the browser history, and clear all cookie data.

For the voice mail notification, you would want to call your voice mail, then listen to all the saved messages, making sure no messages are save as new.

Also make sure that you are not just viewing 1 as the voicemail speed-dial.
