I had my X2 since June no problems, until the new update my phone kept resetting itself at a daily basis > I called support they helped me with replacing it> I had the phone replaced 3 times > w/ 3 refurb phones each one of them over heats > so I called Verizon to have it replaced with a new X2 or one with greater value > they stated they could not and wanted to replace it with a lesser quality phone " if I wanted this kind of service I would jump to sprint " > when the option of buying a new phone was discussed apparently the 100.00 spent on the original purchase ( less than six months ago) it was for nothing > thanks Verizon >

You, me and plenty others would probably agree with the fact that the rules/ regulations of warrenty replacements (previously owned) is pure B.S. Me and my girl back when we first got on the 2 year contract back in March had to pay $450 cash to walk out the VZW store with two Droid X's...since then I've had four DX's and four DX2's...keep getting replacements until your satisfied...you have that right under warrenty. After four DX's they finally offered me n my girl a swap out of any of the top latest 3G phones...saddly I went with the next best thing, DX2 and my girl made the wise choice of going with the HTC Droid Incredible 2. She's been in love with her first replacement since. Kinda think I shoulda went with the same...or the D3 at least. You might be able to get the swap out option too if you call and complain enough...or get enough replacements. But yeah...to pay the amount of money we pay to walk out with these phones and then get replacements with "used" devices really cranks my hate to MAX! I feel you man and this is just me venting. Hope this shines some light for you...and good luck. Ill be jumping ships as soon as this contract is up...no more garbage for me, thank you.
