I just got my phone today and I guess that glitch is back because mine will not activate.
Not a happy camper. The pool girl was on the phone with me for like 40 minutes while she was talking to someone in IT. She told me it could take anywhere between 1-7 days!

I got hung up during the activation process as well but managed to figure out what the problem was. I believe I just had to call a 1-800 number or something to activate the phone (from a separate line). It was a step I completely missed because I was going off the manual that came with the phone, instead of a sheet that ALSO came in the verizon packaging that said something like "Do this stuff first!" I recall the page having a thick red border around it. Just do what it says! Hope this helps!

I bought my CHARGE yesterday at 6pm and they told me they were having trouble activationg the 4 G phones. She said it could take a few hours and to come back if it did not activate in 24 hours.
Mine was finally active at 6 AM this morning. exactly 12 hours after purchase.
Yeah. now to learn how to use it on my own.
